Purpose of Role
Work with the Applications Architect and Senior Developers to create system documentation and user manuals
  • Create System Documentation based on Designs and applications developed by the development teams
  • Edit documents created by developers
  • Compile documents to complete project documentation that complies with the standards of the company
  • Deliver on schedule
  • Deliver right the first time
  • Escalate issues and bottlenecks to Applications Architect
Essential Skills
  • Experience in documentation processes and procedures relevant to the IT industry
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in technical writing
  • Excellent command over the English language with above average writing skills and exposure to American English
  • Understand algorithms and data structures created by developers to document code if necessary with minimum support from developers
  • Ability and willingness to follow procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of MS-Office
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of French, Spanish or German
  • Knowledge of visual design tools like Visio, etc.
  • Business domains like Finance, Production Planning, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Networking/Hardware appreciation
  • Exposure to new technologies and ability to understand them

  • Ability to communicate with fellow team members

  • Minimum Bachelor of Arts with over 60% overall average in English
